Bash shortcut keys

Bash include some useful  shortcut keys, here is partial list.

  • Ctrl + l  – clean the screen from all lines. Same as running the command clear.
  • Ctrl + a – move to the beginning of the current line.
  • Ctrl + e – move to the end of thecurrent line.
  • Ctrl + u – clear the current line
  • Ctrl + k – clear from cursor position to the end of line.
